Born from a dream and a deep passion for kitesurfing, KiteActive was created out of love for the elements and the joy of riding together with friends on the water. It started with a vision: to bring people together, to squeeze the most out of life while flying your kite across the waves.

We say: “Come, feel the rhythm of the ocean, let the wind guide you. No worries, no fear, only pure connection with your kite, yourself, and the elements.”

But it’s not just about kitesurfing. KiteActive is about community, about the vibe, about feeling freedom and breaking down barriers – one wave at a time. You may arrive as a stranger, but you leave as family, connected by the wind, the shared experiences, and the One Love we all celebrate together!

We travel the world, across the seven seas – from the golden beaches of Zanzibar to the windy kitesurf paradise of Brazil. Always chasing that perfect wind, we spread positive vibes wherever we go. Every trip is a new chapter in this epic story of ultimate freedom.

2011, the birth of KiteActive

The start of a kitesurf journey with no end in sight.

KiteActive began by organizing kite and sailing trips along the Dutch Wadden Islands. We quickly discovered that combining a week of intensive kitesurfing with a holiday full of wind, beach, water, and a laid-back vibe was the perfect recipe. And so our concept was born: Eat.Sleep.Kite.Repeat.

Our passion for travel and kitesurfing has taken us to the most stunning kitespots worldwide. From Tarifa to Brazil, from Zanzibar to countless other unique destinations. Each spot has its own vibe — from low-budget adventures to once-in-a-lifetime experiences. What always stays the same? A unique location, a world-class kitespot, a relaxed atmosphere, creative no-wind options, and our super chill, enthusiastic, and experienced team together with our amazing community.

We offer lessons and coaching at every level — from your very first meters on the board to your first megaloop — because we believe everyone loves to keep learning. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what gender you identify with, or what color you wear. With us, there’s only one rule: the sky is not the limit.
