Level 1 – Complete beginner
Become the king (or queen) of the wind!
In this package we’ll guide you step by step – from the very basics to your first confident waterstarts with the board. Safe, fun, and full of personal coaching: everything you need to learn kitesurfing. From zero to hero!

1. Become the king (or queen) of the wind!
Level 2 – Beginner +
This package is for everyone who has already flown a kite once, but hasn’t started waterstarts yet – or hasn’t practiced them in a long time.

- You’ve already flown a kite at least once and know how to steer it.
- Terms like the wind window and the power zone sound familiar to you.
2. Restart your kite career
Level 3 – Waterstart
Intensive waterstart training.
This package is for everyone who has already made a few waterstarts and needs plenty of practice.
Our strengths
- We make sure you spend every possible minute on the water practicing safely.
- We don’t count hours – we focus on results.
- An insanely enthusiastic and experienced team of (pro) kitesurfers!
- We handpick only the very best spots for your level – helping you make up to 3x more progress.

Experience needed
- Solid kite control
- You’ve already made a few waterstarts of at least 5 meters
- You can relaunch your kite from the water
3. Jump on board
Level 4 – Independent flat water
- Can you ride upwind independently on flat water? Then you’re ready for the next step!
Our strengths
- Meet an insanely enthusiastic and experienced team of (pro) kitesurfers who will push and coach you! Being on the water together means guaranteed fun and faster progress!
- We handpick only the very best spots for your level – helping you make up to 3x more progress.

Experience needed
- You should be able to ride upwind on flat water
- Basic knowledge of safety
- Be able to (re)launch and land your kite independently (even in gusty wind)
What you’ll learn
- Your first jumps – or we’ll teach you to boost higher
- Backrolls and frontrolls
- Downloops / kiteloops
- Board grabs, one-footers, toe-side
- Maybe even your first downwinder
4. Ultimate freedom on flat water
Level 5 – Independent at Sea
If you can comfortably ride upwind on the sea, it’s time to make the most of this playground.

Experience needed
- You can comfortably ride upwind at sea in 20+ knots
- Able to launch and land safely, even in gusty winds
- Basic knowledge of safety
- You’ve already done a downwinder – and nailed it
What you’ll learn with us
- Boost your jumps higher and use the waves as the perfect kicker!
- Learn the basics of wave kiting, waves, and the ocean
- Pick up new tricks – starting with your very first jump

5. Do you dare to take on the waves?
Level 6.1 – Twintip Downwinders
Do you regularly ride downwinders on the North Sea and always find yourself in the lead group?
Our strengths
- We’ve developed unique downwind routes all over the world – but maybe the most beautiful one is right at home: the legendary DEN TV-TAS!
- An insanely enthusiastic and experienced team of (pro) kitesurfers guarantees your safety during our downwinders.
Experience needed
- Completing long downwinders in a solid time, like Hoek tot Helder.
- Self-rescue skills.
- Plenty of kitesurf experience at sea, in strong wind, currents, and tides.
Note: For some trips and events, it’s essential that your level matches the challenge. For DEN TV-TAS, you can only join at this level if we personally know you from one of our trips or events.
6.1 we go downwind, downwind!
Level 6.2 – Waveboard downwinders
Do you regularly ride downwinders on the North Sea with your waveboard and always find yourself in the lead group?
Our strengths
- We’ve created unique downwind routes all over the world – but maybe the most epic one is right at home: the legendary DEN TV-TAS!
- An insanely enthusiastic and experienced team of (pro) kitesurfers guarantees your safety during our downwinders.
Experience needed
- Completing long downwinders in a solid time, like Hoek tot Helder
- Self-rescue skills
- Plenty of kitesurf experience at sea, in strong wind, currents, and tides
Note: For some trips and events, it’s essential that your level matches the challenge. For DEN TV-TAS, you can only join at this level if we personally know you from one of our trips or events.
6.2 Wave after wave, turn after turn
Level 7 – Advanced
Let’s go next level together! A big part of our team has been kiting for over 20 years and has competed in events. We’ll teach you handlepasses, kiteloops, board-offs, or that massive bottom turn on your waveboard.

- Video analysis and trick clinics!

- You can easily smash long downwinders
- You’re boosting above 8 meters
- You’re riding your waveboard in the surf and making your first bottom turns

Level 8 – Hardcore
