Experience an endless summer at De HangOut!
After a fantastic first edition, we’re going full throttle for the new one!
On September 6th, KiteActive is once again organizing the legendary Endless Summer Party in Wijk aan Zee at ‘De HangOut’. Perched atop the dune, overlooking the beach and the kite spot, ‘De HangOut’ is nestled in a bunker. Many call it one of the most unique beach clubs in the Netherlands.
During the day, we’ll be offering free kitesurfing coaching/clinics and having a FUN session together! We’ll make sure we finish the season with progress.

Downwind Day NL
Dit jaar organiseren we samen met The Hangout, Makai en Natural High meerdere eendaagse downwinders langs de Nederlandse kust. Perfect om je eerste begeleide downwinder te maken of je als ervaren kiter te kwalificeren voor de legendarische TVTAS. Een dag vol wind, zee en avontuur die je niet wilt missen!

Which material to bring?
The average wind is between 14 and 25 knots. So bring all your kitemates! A large board or foil can come in handy in the morning, and a waveboard is also recommended, as there’s a great wave spot! We always bring premium test gear from CORE Kiteboarding. So, plenty of room to test something new!
What is the set up of the group?
Our groups can range from young to old, and are often evenly split between men and women. The group usually consists of people aged between 20 and 45, with exceptions, of course. We teach beginners and offer tips for advanced kitesurfers, so you can expect us to cater to all levels. We also often offer group activities that you can join without obligation. On some trips, you might share a large room with other KiteActive guests, but this will be indicated. Click here to join the official WhatsApp group for Egypt in the KiteActive community.
Am I insured?
No idea – this is something you need to check for yourself. What’s important is to be aware that you’re booking a highly risky trip. KiteActive does its best to make the journey as safe as possible, but you participate entirely at your own risk!
