Kite
Kitesurfing on the Red Sea is a dream for every rider. Think endless turquoise lagoons, mirror-flat water and steady wind — the perfect playground to push your skills. 🌬️🪁
Our kitecruise Egypt route takes you across shallow sandbanks and hidden islands with endless space to ride. Join downwinders with tender support, dial in your tricks on butter-flat lagoons, or just ride long sessions until the sun sinks into the sea.
Whether you want to level up, learn new tricks or simply enjoy perfect conditions and tropical vibes — the Red Sea is your ultimate kite spot.
Weather & Wind
Spring on the Red Sea (March) marks the start of the kite season: steady northeasterly trade winds deliver consistent 15–25 knots almost every day. Perfect for long progression sessions, first jumps, or endless cruising over flat water.
The weather is warm and dry with plenty of sun; air temperatures are around 25–30 °C and the sea is already pleasant at 22–24 °C. A shorty or lycra is usually enough, though a thin wetsuit can be nice in the early mornings. March on the Red Sea means sunny days, steady wind, and ideal conditions for every style — from freestyle to foil. 🌬️🌞🪁

Questions?
Do you have a question? We’ve selected a few frequently asked questions for you.
How is the group?
The Group
The vibe on board is relaxed and social: you’ll share the week with an international crew of around 12–24 kiters who all share the same passion for wind and water. During the day everyone is out on the water, helping each other with tips, tricks and plenty of stoke. Between sessions you chill together on the sun deck, share stories about your best runs and soak up the laid-back vibes.
The mix of levels makes it even more fun: beginners and advanced riders inspire each other, and there’s always someone up for a sunset session, a downwinder or just a drink at sundown. In no time it feels like one tight crew, making it an unforgettable week together.
Do we get on shore?
On Shore
Yes — during the kitecruise you can definitely get off the boat! We anchor at remote islands and sandbanks where you can not only kite, but also plant your feet in the sand. Think chilling on the beach, swimming in crystal-clear lagoons, or a spontaneous BBQ on an uninhabited island.
We also occasionally stop at local harbors for supplies, where you can briefly go ashore to walk around or pick up some souvenirs. This way, you combine the ultimate sense of freedom at sea with the occasional dose of solid ground under your feet.
How to get there?
Travel
Flying to Hurghada International Airport (HRG) on Egypt’s Red Sea is easy. Many European cities offer direct flights, often several times a week, with a short travel time of just 4 to 5 hours.
On arrival day, you’ll be picked up at the airport and transferred to the marina in about 20 minutes, where the boat is already waiting for you. This way you can smoothly switch from plane to liveaboard — and your kitecruise Egypt adventure can kick off right away.
Things I need to know?
Extra Costs & Tips
Besides the trip price, there are a few things to keep in mind so you won’t be surprised:
- Tips for the crew: usually around €50–€70 per person per week (cash on board)
- Egypt visa: available on arrival in Hurghada, approx. €25 (cash in USD or EUR)
- Alcoholic drinks: not included — you can bring your own or buy limited options on board
- Insurance: travel and cancellation insurance that covers kitesurfing is mandatory
- Kite rental or lessons: optional if you don’t have your own gear or want to learn more
Almost everything else is included, like accommodation, meals, transfers, and use of tenders and rescue. So you can expect very few extra expenses on board.
