Downwinders
Starting from level 5 — independent at sea
This year we’re organizing 8 downwind trips for different levels, and you can join from level 5 (independent at sea). The Explore is a relaxed trip with shorter distances, more chilling and kiting at fixed spots — ideal if you have little downwind experience. The Adventure is for dedicated riders, with the highlight being kitesurfing through the impressive Parnaíba Delta, one of the largest deltas in South America. Wind, distance, discovery and pure freedom — this is downwinding in Brazil.
Homebase Baleia
Baleia is the beating heart of KiteActive in Brazil. A breathtakingly beautiful bay and hidden paradise where wind, ocean and calm come together — far away from the crowds, yet with daily wind and all the space you need to kite, recover and enjoy. Our beachfront villa is run with passion by Rafael, the soul and chef of Baleia, who together with Roos creates a warm, vibrant place where progression, connection and the kitesurf lifestyle come together.
