Yess! Your kitesurf holiday to the Wadden Sea is just around the corner!

General checklist

  • Bring your own sleeping bag or duvet. Pillows are provided on board.
We all sleep on the boat, and in the evenings there will be music until around 23:00. If you want to go to bed earlier, earplugs are super handy!
  • You can shower on board, but bring your own towel!
A cook will join this trip to prepare delicious meals for you. Coffee, tea, and water are available anytime. You can also grab (soft) drinks whenever you like, but don’t forget to mark them down.
  • A sailing jacket / wind- and waterproof jacket is always great if you want to actively join sailing!
Bring both warm and light clothing. The Wadden Sea is always beautiful, but it can get a bit chilly at times.
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Games are always fun to bring along.
  • Pirate costume! Win awesome prizes with the dress-up contest.

Kite gear

  • Try to bring all kite sizes you have. The wind can vary from 8 Bft to 3 Bft – so every size counts!
  • Your twintip, wave board and/or foil
  • Harness with leash
  • Wetsuit 5/3
  • Lycra
  • Sun hat
  • Make sure all your kite gear is packed in a boardbag. There will be quite a lot of kites on board this weekend, and this way your gear stays together and protected while sailing.

Check check double check

  • Missing some gear? No worries – we’ll bring it for you! Everything is also available in our KiteActive shop. Just let us know in advance what you’d like so we can pack it for you. We always have awesome deals waiting for you!

  • During the trip, the KiteActive team and fellow travelers will be taking photos. Prefer not to appear online or on social media? Just let our team know.

  • Is something wrong? Not quite what you expected, or do you just want to get something off your chest? Our team is always here for you and we’ll always look for a solution!

  • Only for Level 1 and 2 we provide standard gear for you. Otherwise, you’ll need to arrange it yourself or book it with us. This can be done up to a few days in advance – after that it’s too late. Not sure about your level or gear? Get in touch with us!!!

  • Kite lessons are provided by our own team and with our own equipment. Have you booked Level 1 or 2? Then gear is included. For other levels, you’ll need to bring your own kite gear or rent it from us. Renting gear from us? Bring your own shorty and harness if you have them! Don’t have these? Get in touch with us – we’ll need your size and a bit of extra info. Please send this to us at least 1 week before departure.
